OUR GAS DETECTION SOLUTIONS

Confined Space Monitors

The smallest and lightest 4-gas portable multi gas detector in the world. Weighing only 4.6 ounces, it fits in the palm of your hand (2.75” H x 2.95” L x .98” D). The GX-2009 simultaneously monitors and displays combustibles, oxygen, carbon monoxide, and hydrogen sulfide.

Fire/Hazmat

The Eagle 2 can also be equipped with a high-sensitivity photoionization detector (PID) for detection of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) at low levels. This function is useful for detection of solvents used in meth production, as well as for detection of accelerants used for arson

Refineries

RKI’s GP-03, a portable single gas combustible monitor, is being used to minimize the permitting process for what is called, Limited Hot Work. Refineries in Northern California eliminate the need to pre-test areas by using the GP-03 gas monitor.

Utilities

We offer “Transformer Gas Testing” versions of our EAGLE portable sample drawing gas monitor for this application. These instruments have a range of 0-5% hydrogen and use a catalytic sensor. This unit also monitors Oxygen. This Eagle for transformer gas testing has two pumps.

Nitrogen Storage Monitoring

The OX-600 is an indoor, standalone monitor that detects Oxygen (O2) with a range of 0-25.0 % volume with 0.1% increments. Its sleek, low profile design is equipped with a unique tri-color display, which changes color as oxygen levels reach each alarm level.

Marine Oil / LNG / LPG / Bulk Carriers

Riken Keiki has developed 2 instruments specifically for this type of inert space monitoring, the RI-415 and RX-415. These instruments use an infrared (IR) sensor to measure hydrocarbon vapors over 2 ranges; 0 – 100% LEL and 0 – 100% volume. The RX-415 will also measure oxygen in addition to the 2 ranges of hydrocarbons.
